It's quite sad that Cleveland gets no recognition.

Don't worry though,
because this year, 08-09.
With Mo Williams on the Cavs now,
they'll be in the finals again, and hopefully take it this time around.</description>

		<description>You are absolutely right.  The average Cleveland fan doesn't think twice about the racial implications, and there's no deliberate racism in his or her thoughts.  But that still doesn't mean it's okay.

My rural high school had the same problem - the Warriors.  I'm sure there was no actual racism in most of those people, but every year they had a spectacularly stereotypical "ceremony" to name the next year's "chief" and "princess" mascots.  It was awful.

I've heard it pointed out beofre that the Indians were originally named in honor of the first Native American player in the major league ... but it seems as if this is not the tribute he deserves.</description>
