This Site

Hi, I'm Beth Dean.

I'm a user experience designer. In the past I've done front end development, user interface design and icon illustration. I've also taught the occasional college web design class. By day I work for a large .com in San Francisco. By night I draw comics. I also listen to music, hang out in the park, eat food, get tattoos and play with my dogs. I usually look very serious but I assure you usually I am not. I don't do freelance any more unless it's for something really special.

I've been drawing as long as I can remember. That's me on the left with the crayons, with my mom and grandmas.

In Ohio I liked to geek out with my friends at the Cleveland Web Standards Association.
